How To Adjust the Global Building Limit on Your Palworld Server

Note:

If your players are receiving a “Too many objects” error or if your server is starting to lag due to massive player-built cities, you need to adjust MaxBuildingLimitNum. This setting acts as a “hard cap” on the total number of building pieces (walls, floors, chests, etc.) allowed across the entire server.

1. Log In to Your Panel

2. Stop Your Server

3. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

4. Open the ‘PalWorldSettings.ini’ File

Navigate to:

Pal/Saved/Config/LinuxServer/PalWorldSettings.ini

5. Find the Variable

Tip: Use Ctrl + F to quickly find the required setting inside PalWorldSettings.ini

Search for MaxBuildingLimitNum
