How To Adjust the Player Render Distance on Your Palworld Server

Note:

If your players are reporting that other players or “Pawns” (the technical term for player characters and NPCs) are disappearing or “popping out” of existence too close to them, you need to adjust ServerReplicatePawnCullDistance. This setting defines the radius (in centimetres) within which the server syncs character data to a player’s client.

1. Log In to Your Panel

3. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

4. Open the ‘PalWorldSettings.ini’ File

Navigate to:

Pal/Saved/Config/LinuxServer/PalWorldSettings.ini

5. Find the Variable

Tip: Use Ctrl + F to quickly find the required setting inside PalWorldSettings.ini

Search for ServerReplicatePawnCullDistance

Setting Value	Distance (approx.)	Effect
5000.0	50 Meters	Very Low. Players will “teleport” into view only when they are very close.
15000.0	150 Meters	Default. Balanced for performance and visibility.
30000.0	300 Meters	High. You can see players from much further away, but it increases server network load.
