How To Change or Reset the Admin Password on a Satisfactory Server

Important!

The admin password on a Satisfactory server controls access to server-level settings, and you can change it anytime in the in-game Server Manager without needing the old one.

Your server password should only be shared with people you fully trust. Anyone with this password can edit configurations, manage saves, and perform administrative actions. Keeping it private protects both your server and its players. After changing your password, it may take up to 1 hour for the server files to fully sync with the Steam network.

1. Launch Satisfactory

3. Locate Your Satisfactory Server

5. Go to ‘Dedicated Server’ Settings
