How to Change the Map on a DayZ Server

1. Log In to Your Panel

2. Stop Your Server

3. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

4. Open the serverDZ.cfg

You can find the serverDZ.cfg folder in the root server.

5. Change the Mission (Map)

Important DLC Notice:

If your server is running a DLC map (such as Livonia or Frostline), all players must own the corresponding DLC in order to join the server.

The server itself can run DLC maps without restrictions, but players who do not own the DLC will not be able to connect.

Inside serverDZ.cfg, locate the template= line inside the class Missions section.

Enter the desired dayzOffline.<terrainName> value inside the quotation marks.

Examples of official maps:

  • Vanilla: dayzOffline.chernarusplus
  • Livonia (DLC): dayzOffline.enoch
  • Frostline (DLC): dayzOffline.sakhal

Select the ‘SAVE CONTENT’ button.
