How To Create a Timings Report on Your Minecraft Server

In this article we will show you how to perform Timings Reports, which are diagnostics that reveal performance issues by showing exactly which plugins, entities, or processes are causing delays by tracking server tick durations and resource usage over time.

1. Log In to Your Server With Your Admin Account

If you don’t know how to be an admin on your server, you can view our How To Make a Player OP (Operator) in Minecraft article.

2. Enter the Command /timings on

This command will start the report generation process.

2.1. Wait Around 10 Minutes or More

Wait at least 10 minutes for the report to be generated. The longer you wait, the more details and processes can be analyzed in depth, which will improve the quality of the final report.

3. Enter the Command /timings paste

This command will finalize the report.

3.1. Check the Generated Report

Once the timings report process is finished, a link will be generated. You can click on it, and it will take you to the report page.
