How To Disable Car Alarms (Panic Events) on Your Left 4 Dead 2 Server

Note:

Panic Events are high-intensity scripted sequences in Left 4 Dead 2 that trigger a massive, continuous swarm of Common Infected (the Horde). These events are usually triggered by environmental hazards like car alarms or startling birds or by specific player actions, such as starting a generator or opening a security gate

1. Download the Stripper:Source

Scroll down and click the file named stripper-1.2.2-git141-linux.tar.gz or whichever Linux version is highest on the list.

2. Log In to Your Panel

3. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

4. Select the ‘left4dead2’ Folder

5. Upload the Archive

---

6. Unarchive the Files

7. Select the ‘Addons’ Folder

---

8. Select the ‘Stripper’ Folder

---

9. Select the ‘global_filters.cfg‘ File

---

10. Edit the Global Filters File

Scroll to the very bottom of the file and paste the following block of code exactly as shown:

11. Select the ‘Save Content’ Button

12. Restart Your Server
