How To Enable bIsMultiplay on Your Palworld Server

Note:

If you are setting up a Palworld server for the first time, you might notice that your friends can’t join your IP even if the server is “Online.” This is often because the bIsMultiplay variable is set to False. This setting acts as the master switch that tells the game engine to allow external connections rather than treating the world as a local, single-player save.

1. Log In to Your Panel

3. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

4. Open the ‘PalWorldSettings.ini’ File

Navigate to:

Pal/Saved/Config/LinuxServer/PalWorldSettings.ini

5. Search for ‘bIsMultiplay‘

Tip: Use Ctrl + F to quickly find the required setting inside PalWorldSettings.ini

Setting Name	Recommended Value	Effect
bIsMultiplay	True	Essential. Opens the server ports so players can join via IP or the Server Browser.
bIsMultiplay	False	Locks the server. No one can join the IP address.
