How To Hide Rival Base Borders on Your Palworld Server

Note:

If you want to make exploration more immersive or give PvP guilds a tactical advantage, the bInvisibleOtherGuildBaseCampAreaFX setting is a powerful tool for your Palworld server. By default, every base is surrounded by a glowing blue circle that is visible to everyone. Enabling this setting hides that “Area Effect” (FX) for anyone who isn’t a member of that guild, allowing bases to blend into the environment for a more natural—or hidden—look.

1. Log In to Your Panel

3. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

4. Open the ‘PalWorldSettings.ini’ File

Navigate to:

Pal/Saved/Config/LinuxServer/PalWorldSettings.ini

5. Search for ‘bInvisibleOtherGuildBaseCampAreaFX‘

Tip: Use Ctrl + F to quickly find the required setting inside PalWorldSettings.ini

Setting Name	Recommended Value	Effect
bInvisibleOtherGuildBaseCampAreaFX	True	Hidden Borders. You can only see the blue circle for your own guild’s base. Rival bases look like normal buildings.
bInvisibleOtherGuildBaseCampAreaFX	False	Visible Borders. Glowing blue lines reveal the exact boundaries of every base on the map to all players.
