How To Install and Set Up an Anti-Cheat (GrimAC) on Your Minecraft Server

1. Download GrimAC.jar File

Note: Make sure to match your Server Version and Platform.

2. Log In to Your Panel


3. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

4. Select ‘Plugins’ Folder

6. Restart Your Server

8. Select the ‘punishments.yml‘ File

9. Configure Automatic Punishments

The configuration file contains different categories including Simulation (for movement hacks), AutoClicker, Reach, Post, BadPackets, and Knockback.

Whichever category you want to enable punishments for, find its section and look for the commands: list. You can add one of the following lines at the bottom of that list to automatically punish cheaters in that category.

To Kick a player:

"Threshold:0 kick %player% Unfair Advantage"

To Ban a player:

"Threshold:0 ban %player% Cheating is not allowed"

Threshold: Replace the ‘Threshold’ at the start with the same number you see next to the [alert] line in that section. For example, Simulation uses 100, but Reach uses 1.

10. Save the Changes


11. Restart Your Server
