How To Remove Mods From Your Project Zomboid Server

In this article, we will explain how to find and delete mods from your Project Zomboid server.

These mods always remain stored in the game files even if you unsubscribe from them on the Steam Workshop, so keeping them can lead to compatibility issues or persistence of certain errors.

1. Open Your File Explorer

2. Locate the ‘Content’ Folder

You can find the folder in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content.

3. Select the ‘108600’ Folder

4. Delete the Mods You Want

Each folder is named after the workshop ID of the mod it represents.

5. Identify the Mod You Want To Remove

If you are unsure which folder to delete in step 4, you can search for the mod ID (folder name) on the Project Zomboid Workshop:

For example, the folder with the ID ‘3461263912’ corresponds to the mod ‘[B42]Clean HotBar v1.8′.
