How to Set an Admin Password on Your Palworld Server

Note:

One of the most common frustrations for a new server owner is typing a command like /Save or /KickPlayer only to find the server completely ignores you. This happens because, unlike a local save, a dedicated Palworld server requires you to “sign in” as an administrator before it will accept your instructions. To fix this, you must set an AdminPassword in your server files and then use that “key” to unlock your powers every time you join.

1. Log In to Your Panel

2. Stop Your Server

3. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

4. Open the ‘PalWorldSettings.ini’ File

Navigate to:

Pal/Saved/Config/LinuxServer/PalWorldSettings.ini

5. Set an Admin Password

Tip: Use Ctrl + F to quickly find the required setting inside PalWorldSettings.ini
