How To Show Join/Leave Messages on Your Palworld Server

Note:

If you want to keep track of who is entering and exiting your world, the bIsShowJoinLeftMessage setting is essential. When enabled, a small notification will appear in the in-game chat for all players whenever someone joins or leaves the server. This is particularly useful for community management and security, as it prevents players from “sneaking” onto the server unnoticed.

1. Log In to Your Panel

3. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

4. Open the ‘PalWorldSettings.ini’ File

Navigate to:

Pal/Saved/Config/LinuxServer/PalWorldSettings.ini

5. Locate the Variable

Tip: Use Ctrl + F to quickly find the required setting inside PalWorldSettings.ini

Search for bIsShowJoinLeftMessage

Setting Name	Value	Effect
bIsShowJoinLeftMessage	True	Enabled. Chat will display “Player Name has joined/left the guild.”
bIsShowJoinLeftMessage	False	Disabled. (Default) Players join and leave silently.
