How to Toggle In-Menu Ghosting on Your Euro Truck Simulator 2 Server

Note:

The in_menu_ghosting setting prevents trucks from colliding with each other while a player is in menus (pause menu, map, settings, etc.). This helps avoid accidental crashes when someone stops to adjust options during a convoy.

1. Log In to Your Panel

2. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

3. Open the server_config.sii File

Navigate to: .local/share/Euro Truck Simulator 2/

Then open: server_config.sii

4. Find the in_menu_ghosting Setting

5. Choose Your Ghosting Mode

Enable In-Menu Ghosting

Prevents collisions when players pause or open menus.

in_menu_ghosting: true

Disable In-Menu Ghosting

Use this only if you want fully realistic collision behavior.

in_menu_ghosting: false

6. Save and Restart Your Server
