How To Transfer a Single Player World to Your Minecraft Server

Important!

The server should be stopped prior to making any changes to the world files. Make sure the server has fully stopped before proceeding with the steps below.

-> Preparing the Single player World for Export

1. Launch Minecraft

2. Locate and Select the World From Your Singleplayer Worlds List

3. Select ‘Edit’

4. Select ‘Open World Folder’

Note:
This will open a new File Explorer tab with the content of your world folder. You will need to keep this open in the background in the meantime.

When you purchase a Minecraft server on Cybrancee, it will automatically generate a world for you. We will be deleting the automatically generated world files in this step.

1. Log In to Your Panel

2. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

3. Select the ‘world’ Folder

4. Select All Files in the ‘world’ Folder

5. Select the ‘Delete’ Button

6. Confirm the Deletion

1. Open the Singleplayer World Folder Window

This is the File Explorer window that was opened on the 3rd step of Preparing the Singeplayer World for Export.

2. Highlight All of the Files in the Singleplayer World Folder

3. Drag and Drop the Files Into the Empty World Folder in Your Server Files

4. Start Your Server
