How To Add Steam Workshop Maps to a Project Zomboid Server

1. Open the Project Zomboid Steam Workshop

2. Select the Map You Want To Install

3. Copy the Mod ID, Workshop ID and Map Folder Values

Once you have selected the map mod you wish to install from the Steam Workshop, scroll to the bottom of the mod description.

There you will find the values for the Mod ID, Workshop ID, and Map Folder. Make sure to copy them.

4. Log In to Your Panel


5. Turn Off Your Server


6. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

7. Select the ‘.cache’ Folder

8. Select the ‘server’ Folder

9. Select the ‘Pterodactyl.ini’ File

10. Paste the Data You Copied From the Workshop

Within the Pterodactyl.ini file, scroll down until you find the line containing the word ‘Mods’ (line 55). There, you will paste the Mod ID value you copied from the Steam Workshop.

Right below the ‘Mods‘ line, you will find the ‘Map‘ line. There, you will paste the Map Folder value you copied from the Steam Workshop.

Make sure to copy the Map Folder value before Muldraugh, KY separated with a semicolon (;), as shown in the image below.

Finally, scroll down a bit further until you find the ‘WorkshopItems‘ line. There, you will paste the Workshop ID value you copied from the Steam Workshop.

11. Start Your Server
