How To Change the Difficulty on Your Palworld Server

Note:

The Death Penalty is one of the most impactful settings on your server. It determines whether players keep their gear upon dying or face a “corpse run” to retrieve their lost items. By default, most dedicated servers are set to All, which can be quite brutal for new players.

1. Log in to Your Panel

3. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

4. Open the ‘PalWorldSettings.ini’ File

5. Choose Your Difficulty Preset

Tip: Use Ctrl + F to quickly find the required setting inside PalWorldSettings.ini
