How To Add Welcome Messages to Your Hytale Server

In this article, we will explain how to install Welcome Messages on your Hytale server.

Welcome Message is a mod that can be useful in servers where you want to announce a message to players. Any player joining can receive up to 4 messages.

1. Download Welcome Messages

1) Make sure to take into account that the mod version matches your server version. In our case, the mod is for the Early Access version.

2) Select the ‘Download’ button. A .jar file will be downloaded.

2. Log In to Your Panel

3. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

4. Select the ‘mods’ Folder

5. Upload the Mod You Downloaded

6. Restart Your Server

7. Select the ‘Serilum_WelcomeMessage’ Folder

Once the server is restarted, the ‘Serilum_WelcomeMessage’ folder will be generated inside the mods folder.

9. Add or Edit Welcome Messages

Once you open the file, you will see these lines of code where each block of 2 lines represents the message and its color:

(1) To add a line of text to the welcome message, you must write the message between ” “.

(2) You can modify the color of the message using RGB code, which you can get from sites like HTML Color.

Then, save the changes.

10. Restart Your Server

Now you will see the new welcome messages that players will receive when they join your server:
