How to Change the Difficulty on Your Hytale Server

1. Log In to Your Panel

2. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

3. Locate the ‘config.json‘ File

You can find the config.json at:

home/container/universe/worlds/default/config.json

4. Within the ‘config.json‘ Locate World Difficulty Settings

Below are the settings that control difficulty levels on your server:

Default Settings
“IsPvpEnabled”: true,	Allows PvP within the server
“IsSpawningNPC”: true,	Allows NPC’s to spawn
“IsAllNPCFrozen”: false	Allows NPC’s to interact and move around

Peaceful Settings
“IsPvpEnabled”: false,	Stops PvP within the server
“IsSpawningNPC”: false,	Stops NPC’s from spawning
“IsAllNPCFrozen”: true	Stops NPC’s from moving around and interacting
