Setting Up a Competitive Tournament World on Your Palworld Server Using WorldOption.sav

Note:

For tournament organisers, the standard PalWorldSettings.ini often fails to apply critical PvP changes to existing worlds. To ensure your competitive rules—like increased Pal HP for longer duels or restricted player stats—are strictly enforced, you must use a WorldOption.sav file. This “Master Controller” file overrides the server’s default logic and ensures a level playing field for every contestant.

1. Log In to Your Panel

3. Open the WorldOption Generator

Apply These Settings

Setting Name	Recommended Value	Why This Matters
bIsPvP	True	Enables the core PvP engine and guild-to-guild damage.
PalDamageRateAttack	0.4	Reduces Pal damage to prevent “one-shot” KOs.
PalDamageRateDefense	2.0	Makes Pals twice as tanky, allowing for tactical ability rotations.
bAllowEnhanceStat_Attack	False	Prevents players from dump-pointing into Attack to “one-tap” others.
DeathPenalty	None	Prevents gear loss during the event, allowing players to jump back in.

Once you have applied the above settings, feel free to add or adjust other variables—such as EXP Rates, Day/Night cycles, or PvP toggles—according to your personal preference. The WorldOption.sav method is flexible; just ensure your “Worker Max” stays at your desired limit while you tweak the rest of the world to fit your community’s playstyle
