How To Enable Automatic Building Upgrades on Your Rust Server

Auto-Install


1. Log In to Your Panel


2. Go to the ‘Rust Plugins’ Tab

3. Install Bgrade

Type in the search bar Bgrade and select the ‘Install’ button.

4. Restart Your Server

For optimal performance, restart your server manually.

Manual Install


1. Download the Plugins

Download ‘Bgrade‘ plugin from the Umod official website


2. Log in to Your Cybrancee Panel


3. Go to the ‘Files’ Tab

4. Locate the ‘plugins’ Folder

You can find the folder in /home/container/oxide/plugins.

5. Open the ‘plugins’ Folder

6. Upload Your Plugin

Upload the Bgrade.cs file from the plugin you downloaded in Step 1.

After uploading, you should see the .cs file in the folder.

7. Restart Your Server

8. Bgrade Permissions

Permissions

This plugin uses the Oxide permission system. To assign a permissions, use the command:

  • Granting permissions:

    oxide.grant <user or group> <name or SteamID> permission
  • Revoke permissions:

    oxide.revoke <user or group> <name or SteamID> permission

Replace <steamID> with the player’s SteamID and <permission> with the permission you want to assign.

These are the basic permissions available in BGrade. You can assign them to VIPs or other players depending on your server’s setup.

  • bgrade.all → Allows the user to use all upgrade grades.
  • bgrade.nores → Allows the user to upgrade without consuming resources.
  • bgrade.1 → Allows automatic upgrades to grade 1 (Wood).
  • bgrade.2 → Allows automatic upgrades to grade 2 (Stone).
  • bgrade.3 → Allows automatic upgrades to grade 3 (Metal).
  • bgrade.4 → Allows automatic upgrades to grade 4 (Armoured).

9. In-Game Chat Commands

The chat commands are dynamic and can be customized in the configuration file. By default:

  • /bgrade t → Change the player’s disable timer.
  • /bgrade 0 → Disable BGrade.
  • /bgrade 1 → Enable automatic Wood upgrades.
  • /bgrade 2 → Enable automatic Stone upgrades.
  • /bgrade 3 → Enable automatic Metal upgrades.
  • /bgrade 4 → Enable automatic Armoured upgrades.

10. Bgrade Settings


10.1 Select the ‘Files’ Tab

10.2 Locate the ‘config’ Folder

10.3 Open the ‘Bgrade.json’ file

Find and open the ‘Bgrade.json‘ file to edit the plugin settings.



10.4 Common Settings

1. Building Attack Settings → Controls whether automatic upgrades respect cooldowns.

2. Command Settings → Customize chat and console commands.

3. Refund Settings → Enables or disables refunds when upgrading a block.

4. Timer Settings → Set default, maximum, and active timers for upgrades.
