How To Fix Late-Game Palworld Server Lag by Adjusting DropItemMaxNum

1. Log In to Your Panel


2. Stop Your Server


3. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

4. Open the ‘PalWorldSettings.ini’ File

Navigate to:

Pal/Saved/Config/LinuxServer/PalWorldSettings.ini

5. Locate ‘DropItemMaxNum

Tip: Use Ctrl + F to quickly find the required setting inside PalWorldSettings.ini

Change this number to a more stable range.

  • For 16 Players: Set to 800
  • For 32 Players: Set to 1200
