How To Fix Late-Game Palworld Server Lag by Adjusting DropItemMaxNum

 Reducing the DropItemMaxNum It is one of the most effective ways to stabilise your Palworld server’s Frame Rate. By limiting the number of physics objects the CPU has to track simultaneously, you significantly reduce the “stuttering” effect players feel when moving between high-activity zones or busy bases. For the best results, combine this with a lower DropItemAliveMaxHours to ensure the server cleans up the world automatically every 30 minutes.

4. Open the ‘PalWorldSettings.ini’ File

Navigate to:

Pal/Saved/Config/LinuxServer/PalWorldSettings.ini

Tip: Use Ctrl + F to quickly find the required setting inside PalWorldSettings.ini

Change this number to a more stable range.

• For 16 Players: Set to 800
