The Beast Master Protocol: How To Play Palworld as a Tactical Commander

Note:

In Beast Master Mode, the player is a tactician, not a warrior. Because you deal 90% less damage than normal, you cannot win a fight with a bow or club. You must treat your Pals like high-value assets—deploying them strategically, managing their cooldowns, and acting as their support. If your team falls, you have no way to defend yourself.

1. Log In to Your Panel

3. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

4. Open the ‘PalWorldSettings.ini’ File

Navigate to:

Pal/Saved/Config/LinuxServer/PalWorldSettings.ini

Tip: Use Ctrl + F to quickly find the required setting inside PalWorldSettings.ini

The “Beast Master” Configuration

PlayerDamageRateAttack	0.100000	You are physically weak. Your weapons are for utility (distraction/status), not killing.
PalDamageRateAttack	2.500000	Your Pals are “War Beasts.” They deal massive, devastating damage to enemies.
PalCaptureRate	0.800000	Slightly harder to catch Pals, making the ones you do recruit feel more valuable.
PlayerDamageRateDefense	2.000000	You are fragile. If an enemy gets past your Pals, you will go down quickly.
bEnableAimAssistPad	True	Helpful for tagging enemies for your Pals to target while you dodge.
PalStaminaDecreaceRate	0.500000	Your Pals can fight and run longer, acting as your primary shield and sword.
