How to Create Holographic Text at Your Server Spawn on Your Minecraft Server (DecentHolograms)

What is a Hologram?
In Minecraft, a “hologram” is simply floating, borderless text that players can walk right through. It is the cleanest way to display welcome messages, server rules, or leaderboards without using clunky wooden signs

What is DecentHolograms?
It is currently the most popular and lightweight plugin used to create these floating displays. It completely replaces older plugins by letting you build, color, and edit your holograms entirely in-game using simple chat commands.

1. Download the DecentHolograms.jar File

Note: Make sure to match your Server Version and Platform.

2. Log In to Your Panel

3. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

4. Select the ‘Plugins’ Folder

5. Upload the DecentHologram.jar File Into the Plugins Folder

6. Restart Your Server

7. Creating the Hologram

DecentHolograms is managed entirely inside the game using simple chat commands. Stand exactly where you want the hologram to appear (it will spawn right at your eye level) and use these commands:

Type: /dh create [Name] [Your Text] and hit Enter.

(Example: /dh create Welcome &eWelcome to the Server!. The name “Welcome” is just a hidden ID so you can edit it later, and the &e makes the text yellow!)

8. Adding a Line to a Hologram

Type /dh line add [Name] 1 [Your Text]
(Note: The ‘1’ tells the plugin to place the new text on the very first page of the hologram!)

(Example: /dh line add Welcome 1 &fBe sure to read the rules!)

9. Moving a Hologram

Just stand exactly where you want it to be and type:

/dh movehere [Name]

10. Deleting a Hologram

Type /dh delete [Name] to instantly remove the entire hologram.
