How to Link Your Minecraft Chat to Discord (DiscordSRV)

1. Download the DiscordSRV .jar file

2. Go to the Discord Developer Portal


3. Select the ‘New Application’ Button

Give it a name (like “Minecraft Server Chat”) and select ‘Create’.

4. Select ‘Bot’ Tab

5. Turn ON ‘Server Members Intent‘ and ‘Message Content Intent

6. Copy Your Bot Token

Scroll back up and click the ‘Reset Token’ button to generate your bot’s secret token. Copy this Token and save it somewhere safe.

7. Select ‘OAuth2’ Tab

8. Under ‘OAuth2 URL Generator’, Check ‘Bot’ Option

9. Under ‘Bot Permissions’, check the ‘Administrator’ Option

10. Copy the Generated URL

11. Paste the Generated URL Into a Web Browser


12. Invite the Discord Bot to Your Discord Server

13. Select the Discord Settings


14. In the Settings Panel, Select ‘Advanced’ and Turn ON Developer Mode

15. Go to Your Server and Select the Channel You want


16. Right-click the Channel and Select ‘Copy Channel ID’

Save the Channel ID, It will be used later in this guide.

17. Log In to Your Panel


18. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

19. Select the ‘Plugins’ or ‘Mods’ Folder

21. Restart Your Server


22. Select the ‘DiscordSRV’ Folder Inside the Plugins/Mods Folder

24. Editing the Config.yml File

Find the line BotToken: "" in your file. Paste the Token you copied in Step 6 directly inside the quotation marks.

Find the line: Channels: {"global": "000000000000000000"}. Replace the zeros with the Channel ID you just copied.

25. Select ‘Save Content’


26. Restart Your Server
