How to Optimize Your Project Zomboid Server

1. Open Project Zomboid


2. Log In to Your Server With Your Admin Account

3. Select ‘Admin’

4. Select ‘Sandbox Options’

5. Select ‘Meta’

5.1. Set the ‘Time Before Corpse Removal’ to 12 or 6

This will be the number of in-game hours that must pass before zombie bodies are removed from the world.

5.2. Set the ‘Blood Level’ to None


5.3. Set the ‘Corpse Maggot Spawn’ to In Bodies Only

Then, save changes.


6. Enable the Removal of Items Left on the Ground

7. Reduce the Zombie Population
