How To Share Blueprints On Your Rust Server

Auto-Install


1. Log In to Your Panel


2. Select the ‘Rust Plugins’ Tab

3. Install ‘Blueprint Share’

Type in the search bar ‘Blueprint Share’ and select the ‘Install’ button.

4. Restart Your Server

For optimal performance, restart your server manually.

Manual Install


1. Download the Plugins

Download ‘Blueprint Share‘ plugin from the Umod official website


2. Log in to Your Cybrancee Panel


3. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

4. Locate the ‘plugins’ Folder

You can find the folder in /home/container/oxide/plugins.

5. Open the ‘plugins’ Folder

6. Upload Your Plugin

Upload the BlueprintShare.cs file from the plugin you downloaded in Step 1.

After uploading, you should see the .cs file in the folder.

7. Restart Your Server

8. Admin Permissions

Permissions

  • This plugin uses the Oxide permission system.

blueprintshare.toggle – Lets players turn automatic sharing on or off using the toggle command.

blueprintshare.share – Allows a player to manually share their blueprints with others.

blueprintshare.show – Gives access to view which blueprints are currently shared.

blueprintshare.use – Enables automatic sharing of new blueprints as they’re learned.

blueprintshare.bypass – Lets a player share blueprints with anyone, even if they’re not part of the same team or group.

  • To grant a permission type this command in the server console field:

oxide.grant user <playername or steamID> <permission>

Replace <steamID> with the player’s SteamID and <permission> with the permission you want to assign.

  • Tip: If you want everyone to be able to use use this permission:

oxide.grant group default <permission>


9. Configure Settings


9.1 Select the ‘Files’ Tab

9.2 Locate the ‘config’ Folder

9.3 Open the ‘BlueprintShare.json’ file

Find and open the ‘BlueprintShare.json‘ file to edit the plugin settings.


9.4 Main Sharing Options

Teams Sharing Enabled – Allows or prevents blueprint sharing between team members on the server.

Clans Sharing Enabled – Allows or prevents blueprint sharing between clan members on the server.

Friends Sharing Enabled – Allows or prevents blueprint sharing with friends on the server.

Share Blueprint Items – Determines if blueprints are shared when using the ‘Learn’ button on blueprint items.

Share Tech Tree Blueprints – Controls whether blueprints learned through the tech tree are shared.

Share Blueprints To Existing Members – Automatically shares a player’s blueprints with all current members when they join a team, clan, or become friends.

Share Blueprints To New Members – Automatically shares all existing blueprints with any new members joining a team, clan, or friend group.

Lose Blueprints on Leave – If enabled, players lose all shared blueprints when leaving a team, clan, or unfriending someone.

Clear Data File on Wipe – Determines whether blueprint sharing data resets during a server wipe.

Receive Messages Enabled – Enables or disables receiving blueprint-related chat messages.

Share Messages Enabled – Enables or disables sending blueprint related chat messages.

10. Blueprint Share In-Game

  • Chat in-game commands

/bs help – Displays a list of available Blueprint Share commands and their usage.

/bs toggle – Turns blueprint sharing on or off for your account.

/bs share <player> – Shares all of your currently learned blueprints with the specified player. If the player name contains spaces, use only the first part.

/bs show <team|clan|friend> [name] – Shows the blueprints you’ve received from others, sorted by workbench tier. You can view shared blueprints by group type: team, clan, or friends.
