How To Configure the “Hot Potato” Mutator on Your Insurgency Sandstorm Server

Note:

Before editing, make sure your server is offline so your changes aren’t overwritten. If your Game.ini is empty, you must include the Section Header (the text in brackets) for the commands to work.

1. Log In to Your Panel

2. Stop Your Server

3. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

4. Open the ‘Game.ini’ file

Navigate to:

Insurgency/Saved/Config/LinuxServer/

5. Edit the ‘Game.ini’ File

bBotsOnlyMutator Targeting: When set to False, both human players and AI bots will drop a live grenade the moment they are killed. Changing this to True restricts the explosive-drop mechanic exclusively to AI bots, leaving human player deaths standard.
