5. Select the ‘server.cfg‘ File

Clicking the server.cfg file in the Cybrancee file manager to edit configuration settings

6. Add the SourceMod Limp Commands

Scroll to the bottom of the document on a new, empty line, and type the following two commands:

sm_cvar survivor_limp_walk_speed 150

sm_cvar survivor_limp_health 40

Adding the sm_cvar survivor_limp_walk_speed 150 and sm_cvar survivor_limp_health 40 commands to the server.cfg file

7. Customise Your Penalty Threshold (The Health Variable)

You can change the survivor_limp_health number to decide when the penalty triggers.

40 is the vanilla default setting.

15 or 10 is a great balance, meaning players will only start to limp when they are practically at death’s door.

0 removes the movement penalty completely.

8. Customise Your Penalty Speed (The Speed Variable)

If you still want players to limp, but not as severely, you can change the survivor_limp_walk_speed.

150 is the vanilla limping speed.

190 or 200 means injured survivors will still slow down, but they can still reasonably keep up with the team (who are running at 220).

7. Save the Changes
