How To Disable Player Auto-Healing for a Hardcore Survival Experience in Space Engineers

1. Log In to Your Panel


2. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

3. Select the ‘config’ Folder

4. Select the ‘Saves’ Folder

5. Select the ‘World’ Folder

6. Inside the ‘World’ Folder, Select the ‘Sandbox_config.sbc‘ File

7. Configure the Auto-Healing Setting

Scroll through the file or use Ctrl + F to find the <AutoHealing> tag.

To Enable Auto-Healing: Change the value to true so the line reads <AutoHealing>true</AutoHealing>

To Disable Auto-Healing: Change the value so the line reads exactly <AutoHealing>false</AutoHealing>. Players will now stay at whatever health percentage they drop to until they actively heal themselves using a medical grid block.

8. Save the Changes
