How To Enable or Disable Supergridding on Your Space Engineers Server

Note:

Supergridding is how you can stuff a huge, long range big grid Jump Drive into a small, lightweight small grid scout fighter. This is generally something you’d want turned off, if you are running a competitive PvP server, to keep the combat balanced!

1. Log In to Your Panel

2. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

3. Select the ‘config’ Folder

4. Select the ‘Saves’ Folder

5. Select the ‘World’ Folder

6. Inside the ‘World’ Folder, Select the ‘Sandbox_config.sbc‘ File

7. Adjust the Supergridding Setting

Scroll through the file or use Ctrl + F to find the <EnableSupergridding> tag.

To Enable Supergridding (For experimental sandbox servers): Change the word false to true so the line reads <EnableSupergridding>true</EnableSupergridding>

To Disable Supergridding (Recommended for stability): Ensure the line reads exactly <EnableSupergridding>false</EnableSupergridding>. Any player who attempts to paste a supergridded blueprint will be blocked.

8. Save the Changes

9. Restart Your Server
