How To Switch Your Satisfactory Server Between Public and Experimental Versions

Note:

In Satisfactory, there are two main branches: one is the public branch, the current version of the game, and Experimental, which is the upcoming version of the game.

1. Log In to Your Panel

2. Select the ‘Startup’ Tab

3. Locate ‘[Advanced] Branch Name’

4. Set ‘[Advanced] Branch Name’ to ‘experimental’

[Accepted Values: “public“, “experimental“, or leave empty to use the primary branch of the server] Used to download or switch to a non-primary branch of the game server. “Automatic Updates” and “Validate Server Files” must be set to “1” to switch branches if the server is already installed. NOTE: Any non-primary branches may not be fully compatible/stable!

6. Select ‘Reinstall Server’

1. Ensure Your Game Is ‘Experimental’

Open Steam and locate Satisfactory

2. Open ‘Properties’ Menu

3. Select ‘Game Versions & Betas’

4. Select ‘experimental’ Version From the Menu

Note: You will have to reinstall your game after changing this, You won’t lose any of your save files but they will become unplayable.
