How To Enable or Disable Tool Shake on Your Space Engineers Server

Note:

Disabling tool shake only affects hand-held tools. If a player mounts a ship drill or grinder to the end of a long, flimsy piston setup, physics will still cause that grid to shake and wobble

1. Log In to Your Panel

2. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

3. Select the ‘config’ Folder

4. Select the ‘Saves’ Folder

5. Select the ‘World’ Folder

6. Inside the ‘World’ Folder, Select the ‘Sandbox_config.sbc‘ File

7. Configure the Tool Shake Setting

Scroll through the file or use Ctrl + F to find the <EnableToolShake> tag.

• To Disable Camera Shake (Smooth Gameplay): Change the value to false. The line should look exactly like this: <EnableToolShake>false</EnableToolShake>
• To Enable Camera Shake (Vanilla Realism): Change the value to true so the line reads <EnableToolShake>true</EnableToolShake>

(Note: If you cannot find this tag, simply scroll to the bottom of the <Settings> section and manually type <EnableToolShake>false</EnableToolShake> right above the closing </Settings> tag.)
