How To Install an “Anti-Rush” Plugin on Your Left 4 Dead 2 Server

1. Download the Anti-Rush Plugin

2. Log In to Your Panel


3. Select the ‘left4dead2’ Folder

6. Upload the Anti-Rush.zip to ‘sourcemod’ Folder

7. Unarchive the Anti-Rush.zip

8. Restart Your Server


9. How the Plugin Works

Once active, the server constantly monitors the distance between players. If a survivor runs too far ahead of the main group, the plugin will display a warning message on their screen. If they ignore the warning and continue to rush, the server will automatically punish them (depending on your configuration, this usually means teleporting them back to the team, slowing their movement speed to a crawl, or aggressively spawning Special Infected on top of them). This guarantees your team will stick together.
