How To Upload Your Own World to Your Valheim Server [+1.0]

1. Open Your File Explorer

2. Locate the ‘worlds_local’ Folder on Your PC

You can find the folder in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\LocalLow\IronGate\Valheim\worlds_local

Make sure to replace <username> with your PC’s username.

3. Select the World You Want To Upload to Your Server

3.1. Compress the Files Inside the World Folder in RAR/ZIP Format

(1) Select All the Files Inside the World Folder.

(2) Right-Click
on Them and Select the ‘Add to Archive’ Button.

Once that’s done, the compressed file should look like this:

4. Log In to Your Panel


5. Turn Off Your Server


6. Select the ‘Files’ tab

7. Locate the ‘worlds_local’ Folder

You can find the folder in /home/container/.config/unity3d/IronGate/Valheim/worlds_local.

8. Select Your Server’s Current World Folder

9. Delete the Files Inside the Server’s World Folder

(1) Enable the Checkbox To Select All the Files Inside the Folder.

(2) Select the ‘Delete’ Button.

10. Upload the Compressed File of Your Local World

Upload the file of your local world that you compressed in step 2.1.

10.1. Unarchive the Compressed File of the Local World

Once that’s done, the compressed file should look like this:
