6. Restart Your Server

7. How It Works In-Game

Most Timber plugins are completely automatic right out of the box, meaning you don’t have to configure any complicated permissions for your players to start using them!

How to chop a tree instantly:

1. Equip any type of Axe (Wooden, Stone, Iron, Diamond, or Netherite).

2. Walk up to any naturally generated tree.

3. Break the very bottom wood block.

4. The entire tree will instantly break, dropping all the wood blocks and saplings onto the ground for you to collect!

8. Things to Keep In Mind

Tool Durability: To keep the game balanced, most Timber plugins will still subtract durability from the player’s axe for every block of wood broken. If a tree has 10 logs, the axe takes 10 durability damage!

Sneaking: If a player wants to break just a single block of wood (like if they are building a house), they just need to Sneak (Shift) while chopping, and the tree will not fall.

Player-Placed Blocks: Timber plugins are smart enough to recognise naturally grown trees. They will not destroy a player’s wooden house if they accidentally chop the wall!
