Why Can’t I Run Admin Commands? How To Enable RCON on Your Palworld Server

If you want to manage your Palworld server without being physically logged into the game, enabling RCON (Remote Console) is essential. RCON allows you to send administrative commands—like kicking players, broadcasting server-wide messages, or performing a safe shutdown—directly through a console or third-party mobile app. It is the “Command Centre” for any professional server owner.

1. Log In to Your Panel

2. Stop Your Server

3. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

4. Open the ‘PalWorldSettings.ini’ File

Navigate to:

Pal/Saved/Config/LinuxServer/PalWorldSettings.ini

5. Locate the Setting

Tip: Use Ctrl + F to quickly find the required setting inside PalWorldSettings.ini
