How to Change Your Left 4 Dead 2 Server’s Matchmaking Region

Note:

If your server is hosted in Europe, but the server internally thinks it’s in the US, local players will have a hard time finding it in the server browser. You can manually set the server’s region code to fix this.

1. Log In to Your Panel

2. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

4. Select the ‘cfg’ Folder

5. Select the ‘server.cfg‘ File

6. Add the Region Command

Paste the sv_region command at the bottom of the file followed by your corresponding region number.

Region Codes:

0 – US East coast

1 – US West coast

2 – South America

3 – Europe

4 – Asia

5 – Australia

6 – Middle East

7 – Africa

255 – World (Global)

7. Save the Changes

8. Restart Your Server
