How to Enable “Drop Weapon” Functionality on Your Left 4 Dead 2 Server

Important!

You must have SourceMod and MetaMod installed on your server before following this guide. If you do not have them yet, check out our guides on installing them first.

1. Download the Drop Weapon Plugin

2. Log In to Your Panel

3. Select the ‘left4dead2’ Folder

4. Select the ‘addons’ Folder

7. Upload Drop Weapon File Into the ‘plugins’ Folder

8. Restart Your Server

9. How to Drop Weapons In-Game

Once loaded into the campaign, players can instantly drop whatever item they are currently holding by opening their text chat and typing:

!drop
