How to Let the Charger Steer While Charging on Your Left 4 Dead 2 Server

Important!

You must have SourceMod and MetaMod installed on your server before following this guide. If you do not have them yet, check out our guides on installing them first.

1. Download the Charger Steering Plugin

2. Log In to Your Panel

3. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

8. Upload the Charger Steer Plugin Into the ‘plugin’ Folder

9. Restart Your Server

10. How to Steer In-Game

When you spawn as a Charger (or if you are playing a custom Versus mode), simply use your primary fire to start charging.

Instead of being stuck in a straight line, simply move your mouse to look left or right, and your Charger will curve and follow your crosshair. You can even drift around sharp corners to catch survivors who think they are hiding safely out of sight.
