How to Let Players Control the Witch on Your Left 4 Dead 2 Server

Important!

You must have SourceMod and MetaMod installed on your server before following this guide. If you do not have them yet, check out our guides on installing them first.

1. Download the Playable Witch Plugin

2. Log In to Your Panel

3. Select the ‘left4dead2’ Folder

4. Select the ‘addons’ Folder

7. Upload the Playable Witch Plugin Into the ‘plugins’ Folder

8. Restart Your Server

9. How to Play as the Witch In-Game

When playing a Versus match, players on the Infected team will typically get a notification in chat when a Witch has spawned on the map.

Depending on the specific plugin version you downloaded, a player can either type !witch in the text chat to take over her body, or the Director will randomly assign control of the Witch to a waiting Infected player. Once in control, you can run around, climb ladders, and use your primary attack to instantly incapacitate a survivor
