How To Fix the “Unable To Load Authentication Library” Error on Your Left 4 Dead 2 Server

1. Log In to Your Panel


2. Stop Your Server


3. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

4. Select the ‘bin’ Folder

5. Inside the ‘bin’ Folder, Select the ‘steamclient.so‘ File

6. Copy the ‘steamclient.so‘ File

Select the three dots on the far right side of that file and select Copy. (This will instantly create a duplicate file named steamclient copy.so in that same folder).

7. Move the copy of the ‘steamclient.so‘ File to the ‘bin’ Folder Inside the ‘left4dead2’ Folder

8. Select the ‘left4dead2’ Folder

9. Select the ‘bin’ Folder

10. Inside this ‘bin’ Folder, Select the copy of ‘steamclient.so‘ Named as ‘steamclient copy.so

11. Rename the ‘steamclient copy.so‘ to ‘steamclient.so

Click the three dots on the far right and select Rename.

12. Restart Your Server
