How To Change Assembler and Refinery Speeds on Your Space Engineers Server

1. Log In to Your Panel

2. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

3. Select the ‘config’ Folder

6. Inside the ‘World’ Folder, Select the ‘Sandbox_config.sbc‘ File

The Sandbox_config.sbc file highlighted in the world folder.

7. Adjust the Speed and Efficiency Multipliers

Scroll through the file or use Ctrl + F to locate the following tags. The number between the tags acts as a multiplier (where 1 is the default, realistic speed).

To change how fast ores are refined into ingots: Find the <RefinerySpeedMultiplier> tag. Change the value to a higher number. For example, <RefinerySpeedMultiplier>3</RefinerySpeedMultiplier> will make refineries work three times as fast.

To change how fast components are built: Find the <AssemblerSpeedMultiplier> tag. Increase this number to speed up production.

To change how many ingots are required to build components: Find the <AssemblerEfficiencyMultiplier> tag. Increasing this number means your assemblers will require less material to produce the same amount of components.

Note: Setting these multipliers to 3 or 10 is very common for standard multiplayer servers to respect players’ real-life time.
