How To Turn Off Turret Friendly Fire on Your Space Engineers Server

1. Log In to Your Panel


2. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

3. Select the ‘config’ Folder

4. Select the ‘Saves’ Folder

5. Select the ‘World’ Folder

6. Inside the ‘World’ Folder, Select the ‘Sandbox_config.sbc‘ File

7. Configure the Turret Friendly Fire Setting

Scroll through the file or use Ctrl + F to locate the <EnableTurretsFriendlyFire> tag.

To Enable Friendly Fire: Change the value to true so the line reads <EnableTurretsFriendlyFire>true</EnableTurretsFriendlyFire>. Players will need to be incredibly careful about where they place their turrets and how they fly around their base!

To Disable Friendly Fire: Change the value so the line reads exactly <EnableTurretsFriendlyFire>false</EnableTurretsFriendlyFire>. Your turrets will no longer damage blocks owned by you or your faction members, even if they accidentally hit them.

8. Save the Changes
