How To Install an Overhaul Mod on Your 7 Days To Die Server

Note:

This requires you to disable EAC. Learn how to disable EAC.

1. Download the Desired Overhaul Mod

You can download the mod from here

2. Note the Version and Any Other Installation Needed for the Desired Mod

You can see this information in the description of the mod

3. Unzip the Downloaded Mod

4. Log In to Your Panel

5. Stop Your Server

---

6. Select the ‘Startup’ Tab

7. In the Beta Branch Field Input the Version Required for the Mod

8. Select the ‘Settings’ Tab

---

9. Select ‘Reinstall Server’

10. Select the Drop-Down Menu

---

11. Select ‘Delete current files and reinstall server‘ Reinstall Option

Delete current files and reinstall server

Wipes all current files and performs a clean reinstall. Useful when you want a completely fresh start, whilst keeping any settings configured on the startup page.

12. Select ‘Continue’

13. Select ‘Confirm reinstall’ on ‘Delete current files and reinstall server‘

Important!

This action is permanent and cannot be reversed. Proceed with caution.

14. Start Your Server

15. After a Complete Start of the Server, Stop the Server

This is required so we can get a mod folder.

16. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

17. Locate the ‘Mods’ Folder

You can find the file in home/container/Mods.

18. Drag and Drop the Mod From Step 3 to the Mods Folder

Make sure there are no previous mods.

19. Locate the ‘serverconfig.xml’ File

You can find the file in home/container/serverconfig.xml.

20. Find and Change the Value of GameName and Save

This will create a new world for the mod
