How To Change the Day Length on Your Enshrouded Server

Note:

By adjusting the day length, users can enjoy more time on the server when visibility is high and without the usual dangers night brings. Since night and day durations are separate values, players can increase either duration independently.

1. Log In to Your Panel

2. Stop Your Server

3. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

4. Locate the ‘enshrouded_server.json’ File

You can find the file in home/container/enshrouded_server.json.

5. Make Sure ‘gameSettingsPreset‘ Is Set to Custom

This is a required step as this allows you to edit the settings.

6. Find and Replace the Value of “dayTimeDuration” and “nightTimeDuration” to the Desired Value and Save

These values are in nanoseconds. Minimum value is 120000000000 (2 Minutes) and maximum value is 3600000000000 (60 Minutes).
