How To Reset a User’s Password on Your Project Zomboid Server

In this article, we will explain how to reset a user’s password on your Project Zomboid server, which will allow them to create a new password the next time they connect and continue with their character’s progress.

1. Log In to Your Panel

2. Select the ‘Console’ Tab

3. Enter the Command ‘removeuserfromwhitelist <username>’

Enter the command removeuserfromwhitelist <username> replacing <username> with the name of the user, making sure to match the uppercase and lowercase letters of the name.

Once the command has been entered, you will be able to see that the user has been removed from the server’s whitelist. This means that the user will be able to register a new password the next time they connect to the server:
