How to Configure Server Suppression Effects on Your Insurgency Sandstorm Server

Note:

Before editing, make sure your server is offline so your changes aren’t overwritten. If your Game.ini is empty, you must include the Section Header (the text in brackets) for the commands to work. If the header already exists in your file, add the command directly underneath it instead of duplicating the header.

1. Log In to Your Panel

3. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

4. Open the ‘Game.ini’ file

Insurgency/Saved/Config/LinuxServer/

5. Edit the ‘Game.ini’ File

Configuration Element	Exact Code	Notes
Header Section	[/Script/Insurgency.INSGameMode]	Ensure this is at the top of the block. Use this specific header for core game rules.
Suppression Multiplier	SuppressionMultiplier=2.0	Doubles the visual blur and audio suppression penalty applied when enemy bullets impact nearby or pass close to the player.
Sway Modifier	SwayModifier=1.5	Increases base weapon sway by 50%, making it significantly harder to steady your sights and return accurate fire when engaged.
