How to Change the Idle Player Kick Timer on Your ARK: Survival Evolved Server

1. Log In to Your Panel


2. Stop Your Server


3. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

4. Open the ‘GameUserSettings.ini‘ File

Navigate to:

/ShooterGame/Saved/Config/LinuxServer

This setting operates strictly in seconds.

3600.000000: Kicks players who have been inactive for exactly 1 hour.

1800.000000: Kicks players after 30 minutes, freeing up valuable slots faster on high-population servers.
