How to Add/Remove Admins on Your Insurgency Sandstorm Server

Note:

Adding or removing an admin requires a server restart or map change before the change takes effect in-game.

1. Log In to Your Panel

2. Stop Your Server

3. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

4. Find the SteamID64 of the Player You Want to Add

Go to the steamid.io Website

 Enter the Player’s Profile Link or Username

Copy the ‘SteamID64’

It is the long number starting with 765… – it’s the format required to perform commands like admin, ban and kick

5. Open 'Admins.txt' File

Navigate to:

Insurgency/Saved/Config/LinuxServer/

If it doesn’t exist, create a new file named exactly Admins.txt.

6. Add an Admin

Paste the SteamID64 on its own line. For multiple admins, add one SteamID64 per line.

Do Not Add Comments or Extra Spaces on the same line as a SteamID

7. Save the Changes

8. Restart Your Server

---

9. Remove an Admin

• Open Admins.txt
• Delete the Line containing the SteamID64 of the player you want to remove
• Save the File
