How to Change Lighting Conditions (Day/Night Maps) on Your Insurgency Sandstorm Server

1. Log In to Your Panel

2. Stop Your Server

3. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

4. Open ‘MapCycle.txt‘ File

Navigate to:

Insurgency/Saved/Config/LinuxServer/

5. Add the Lighting Parameter

cenarioLightingMapCycle.txt Line
Scenario_Refinery_Checkpoint_SecurityDay(Scenario="Scenario_Refinery_Checkpoint_Security",Lighting="Day")
Scenario_Refinery_Checkpoint_SecurityNight(Scenario="Scenario_Refinery_Checkpoint_Security",Lighting="Night")

Add the Lighting Parameter to a Scenario Line as shown above to all the maps you want to change the lighting(day/night).

6. To Include Both Day and Night Versions of the same map (so players can vote between them), add both as separate lines

7. Save the Changes

8. Restart Your Server
